Chips are cut daily from potatoes from family farms – there’s even a window into the potato room, so you can keep an eye on the action – while sides from mushy peas to curry sauce are all homemade.
We’ll always have a seasonal salad and veg of the day as well as one vegetarian and one classic English fish-free main.
Featuring fresh coastal shellfish to starters and sharers and a great selection of grilled and lightly battered fish and chip mains, our main menu changes daily.
Served 12 – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday and 12 – 2.30pm on Saturdays.
The Scallop Shell is fully licensed and we have a carefully-chosen selection of wines and fizz to complement our dishes, available by the bottle and glass, alongside seasonal cocktails, beer and cider, after dinner drinks and delicious booze-free beverages.
